The hostel is on the hill of Zdiar surrounded by mountains and farmland. There are many hiking trails, ski slopes and biking trails. Akl are accessible by nus or on foot. So the hostel itself is a perfect base for outdoor activities. The hostel building is made of wood, clay and some kind of straw (may be), so it's quite unique. Staff are friendly and extremely helpful. The pet dog "Voli" and the cat Kevin are perfect companions. Overall I recommend the hostel.

A small place into a small montains village, far from everything. But it was so pleasant to be there at this time. The staff is very good, the view from the front door is stunning, and I had real pleasure to spend my nights with everyone here!

The staff is so friendly, the place is so cozy, and it really feels like a home away from home while on your travels. I think almost everyone I met here extended their stay because they didn't want to leave. Meeting the hostel dog Wally is definitely a bonus too.

Si lo que buscas es fiesta, alcohol, chicas y resaca puede que este no sea tu hostel.Llegamos al Ginger monkey después de haber visitado Bratislava y fue para nosotros como un retiro espiritual.Rutas por los montes Tatra, paseos con Wally, el perro del hostel, desayunos buenos y abundantes y charla con una cerveza en la mano.Espectacular y recomendable para relajarse.

J'ai séjourné quelques jours dans cette auberge de jeunesse que j'ai adoré. Elle se situe dans un petit village proche de différents parcours de randonnée, et est desservie par différentes lignes de bus. On s'y sent tout de suite comme chez soi. Rien à redire: chambre propre et lits confortables, de même pour la salle de bain, et super ambiance!
