Had a really great week at Chalet Slovakia. The Chalet itself had everything which we needed included nice warm communal room with log stove. Food was good, especially Dan's Brownies and Pie night. Additional bonuses were the table tennis and ability to hire skis and equipment direct from the Chalet instead of having to go to a ski hire store. Hosts incredibly welcoming and provided invaluable touring experience of the mountain meaning we got to ski some hidden gems. Could not recommend enough.

The family of the chalet Slowakia is very nice. We spent some days mountainbiking in the summer and it was great. We were brought up the hill by a mini-van and biked down, with the hostel-owner as a guide and the second time by ourselves. Amazing. And very nice for children, since the slopes around the village are not extremely steep. The village itself is tiny but plenty of activities in summertime. And you don't have the crowds you would have in other similar resorts in Europe.

Came back 3 weeks ago from Chalet Slovakia who accommodated our party of 7 mates, Dan and Ollie made everything easy and generally ace for us all. We loved it. Loved the Chalet, loved the location and loved the skiing / boarding.So good in fact, some of the gang are returning in 2 weeks!! Cant wait.Thanks both.

Dan And Ollie were superb hosts..Their extensive knowledge and insight of the town and mountain was much needed and appreciated. Chalet was perfect and very homely. Nothing was too much trouble.. Loved every minute of our trip and will definitely be returning as soon as possible. Couldn't recommend this place enough.Thank you Bye...

Stayed here with some mates for a long weekend away from the wives, Dan and Ollie are great hosts and nothing was too much for them. The chalet has a really relaxing atmosphere and is only a short walk into town, with plenty of bars and restaurants. Dan has plenty of options to keep you busy, ping pong and NHL on the playstation where favourites for our group and he hires ski and snowboard equipment at a very reasonable rate. Will definitely be back (probably with the family)

Had a fantastic stay at Chalet Slovakia, Dan and Ollie were excellent hosts driving us to and from the mountain everyday and always making sure the fridge was full of beer :) The accommodation was fantastic complete with a log burning stove which is just what you need after a long day on the slopes and the rooms are always cosy and warm, so if you are planning a trip to ski at Jasna I would highly recommend Chalet Slovakia!

Dan and Ollie were excellent hosts. Drove us up and back from the mountain every day (which took two trips each time!) as well as to the aquapark and gokarting. Out of the week we were there, they cooked a meal one night which was gorgeous and very filling!Always a home made cake waiting for you for when you get back in the afternoons!My first two days on the mountains there were with Dan as he gave me snowboarding lessons. As a tutor he was very professional and patient! Would definitely return

So good we came back. Dan and Ollie - a couple of top guys. The chalet is like staying with your mates who happen to live in an excellent place. Nothing is too much for these guys. They drove us up to the mountain every day, took us to the aquapark, gokarts and the ice hockey. They took time out of their busy schedules to ride the mountain with us and showed us some of the best off piste runs. Were were lucky this year as we got a dump of snow and got to ride the freshies.We will be back again.
