Charming place ... perfect service, parking, very comfortable rooms for singles, couples and family, good base for trips - very close to the old town, close to Šachtičky - skying, hiking . Hardly recommended :-)

This is a gem of a place to rest your head after, or before a day of sightseeing. Zuzana is a wonderful hostess and runs a charming, restful place with lots to look at. Delicious breakfast. 5 minute walk to old town square. You don't have to look any further. Thanks!

For those visiting Slovakia and the minor delightful cities such as Banska Bystrica, this is a haven. It is peaceful, a quiet 8 minute walk to the old town centre and about 5 to a Tesco. Zuzana has good English and is an excellent communicator. We had a load of washing done as well. Breakfast was generous. The rooms were comfortable, clean, well set up and serviced. The beds were firm but great.

We stayed for 6 nights in this hotel. The house keeper Zuzana is a wonderful woman! She makes a great job in keeping this place on such a high level.She is always friendly and helpful. The breakfasts are great too. We wanted to stay there for another night (we was looking for a flat for a long time and our search took longer than we planed), but here all rooms were booked and she called to another place for us and gave us a ride to it. Wonderful human being!

We spent one night here. The pension and garden are well-kept, wonderfully decorated, location excellent, 5 minutes walk from old town. Room was spacious and impeccably clean, with stylish furniture, comfortable bed with beautiful bed-linen. Free parking. Excellent wifi. Breakfast room attractive, tables nicely laid, part of breakfast freshly prepared and served by the host, the rest is buffet-style. The only negativum: no aircon or fan. Still, very good value for price. Would love to return.
